Thanks, looks like it is the A board from this end as the back light does flicker when i disconnect CN303, i will see if that is worth fixing with a good price for the board, or else it will have to go for recycling. ;-)
the only thing i like about this tv is the fact that it has a 1080P, too bad it is a 40" as mine is 42" but doesn't have the 1080p as it has the 1080i on a Light grey background screen as the Sony is black which i also like.
WOW, let's do that again, i had the wrong voltmeter earlier to read my resistance. i found my old one now
so Here are the REal readings:
1- 1.66 K
2- 1.66 k
3- .005
4- .006
5- 1.25 k
6- .001
7- .48
8- .48
9- .48
10- .001
11- .001
12- .001
13- .765
14- .001
i tried that harness according to mustang and the problem was still there, Now i disconnected that top right harness, where do you want me to take ohms readings? pins from where to where?
to the PWr supply or the A/V board?
There are 2 capacitors of the same size at 100uf at 50Volt, locations
C609-C909
there is also a smaller one at 22uf at 50Volt location c905
all of them from the Primary area.
As of CN1 is the main power source reading more or less 114-120 volt ac.
Cn3 not found and couldn't found even in the schematic manual that you guys provided as a PDF file for that model.
Will do my best to post a clearer picture as i took it with my iphone and will do more testing with voltage readings and will also try to post the pic here instead of my facebook account. ...
i don't have the botom side of it, but i did inspect all the welds and look good so far, no Extra flux laying on the board.
As for my experience:
well i graduated in Audio video repairs like over 13 years ago, so technology sort of got over me, but i still grasp the concept on how they work as i usually try to keep myself up to date with new machines.
i do have the basic tools for repair like the soldering iron, flux and etc. i usually...
