Dont have Lunix im on windows buddy but thanks anyway good to know are there any special settings i use for the T48 programmer to copy & wright a bios file or will default settings be ok...Leave a comment:

Yes i binned the alligator clips and got adapters and a T48 programmer great bit of kit ive programmed a W25Q64FVSSIG bios chip not fitted it yet but fingers crossedLeave a comment:

Ive been flashing recommended dump files on the chip with 3.3V and still get the flashing cap lock is it possible this programmer isn't detecting the correct chip as i cant see the number on the chip as its worn away to put it in manualyLeave a comment:

Sorry Great Sage the numbers worn off the chip but when i test the chip with the software it says winbond w25q64

Hi buddy sorry for the late reply i think its a 1.8v ill have a look later i have a EZP2023+ at the moment but i think somethings not right with it if thats possable on just taking the first reading from the bios chip with the crocodile clip stopped the laptop from posting and now im getting flashing caps lock i tried flashing recommended dump files with the chip removed but no change still flashing so i was thinking of getting a different programmer thinking that would fix the issueLeave a comment:

Hi i got a ezp2023+ programmer to flash the bios on my hp spectre x360-13- i set it up and used the crocodile clip to read the chip on a working laptop when i took it off my laptop no longer posts it now has a flashing cap lock ive tried flashing recommended dump files still the same so im thinking the programmer could be faulty & pushing the wrong voltage and messing up the flash do you think the T56 or a [B]CH341[/B]
