  • Re: Dell XPS 410, KZG 6.3v Caps

I am trying to repair a Dell XPS 410 MB and already replaced six 6.3V 2200uf caps but when we tried the board out, we got the same flashing amber power light. I now want to replace (3) 16V 680uf, (3) 16V 470uf, and (1) 6.3V 220uf caps. Does anyone have a recommended list of replacements or is the newbie reply go look at the store?

  • Re: Sceptre X22 WG Gamer With Replaced Caps Turns off after 5-10 minutes

I know this thread is dated but thanks to all the posters, a good cap list, one trip to Radio Shack for a good iron and my X22 Gamer is working like a champ. I had the blinking power button and after finding this site determined to try these repairs. I did purchse the caps from Digi-Key based on site suggestions. This site is going to the top of my list. Repair accomplished by replacing part #s P12389-ND(4), 493-1575-ND(1), and P12366-ND(2).
