Hi guys, thanks for the replies but I'm a bit of an electronics newbie when it comes to actual components and need a little extra help

Could somebody tell me what I should be looking for when I goto an electronics store to purchase new capacitors? I'll look for the better brands according to this site, but what specifications or what exactly am I looking/asking for? I tried to do this once, but the guy at the counter wasn't exactly helpful and wouldn't help me unless I could tell him what I needed even...

So I need to replace every cap on the board? What kind of caps should I use?...

Hi, this is my first post, I have a videocard with a capacitor that looks like it leaked and bloated. The card is crashing in windows because I think the capacitor has something to do with voltage regulation, the side of the card, specifically the corner it is in gets burning hot unlike anywhere else on the card and when it heats it, the video goes bad.

This is the capacitor in question, can I find a replacement capacitor in any electronics store? What should I ask for? I can solder but I don't know much else about electronics....
