Asus vivobook S 15 - K3502Z - no power.
I have this vivobook that doesn't power on.
I connect the charger via USBC and checked it with my thermal camera.
A mosfet near the charger keeps turning on and off. NIKOS PK5V6BA GUE3X0Z01
on the other side there's a really small chip that is power cycling too.
TPS65994AD USBC power deliver controller.
Theres a short somewhere, I am injecting 1V 2A into it and nothing is getting hot. -

I removed the motherboard, attached the usbc charger and checked it over with my thermal camera.
I have a nikos PK5V mosfet turning on and off. No hot caps.
Could someone help me find the schematic?

I dont have a variable power supply. Im checking the resistance on the caps and I'm finding a bunch that appear shorted. I assume its all caused by a single short? Are there any schematics for this motherboard? I found one that was supposed to be for this but it was off by one number.Leave a comment:

i measured the pads 5-6-7-8 on the motherboard where the mosfet used to be. im getting 0 at 20kLeave a comment:

The DC jack is connected via removable cable. I remove the cable and test it and I get 19v from the motherboard connector. The cable seems fine.

PL101: 0.4 -0.8v. All my power adapters keep tripping I think. Light blinks

Acer A515-51 - C5V01 LA-E891P Rev 1c
laptop lights wont turn on, wont power on. When plugged in I get 0.4v-0.8v directly from the DC jack plug on the motherboard. 19v from the charger.
