Well, in the end it still doesn't work, yet it's a BIOS from the same motherboard and I don't understand why it doesn't display anything (black screen) and without the possibility of having the Asus logo ans so on. We'd have to find someone one which has the original BIOS with an Asus having as Model: G702VM-XXXXXX perhaps, i guess.
I think the problem is either:
- in the 8MB binary file (block 0x000000-0x21FFFF).
- in the 1MB EC binary file (which may have been corrupted) which must surely depend on the 8MB BIOS binary file.
I continue my investigation......

I've just test the dump and :
- with this dump, the fans run normally (it's already better) initially
- still no display (internal/external)
- BIOS NO access.
- sometimes it restarts by itself if I press the button "power on/off" to turn it off.
I don't know what triggers the BIOS level POST to appear on screen at this point.

I tested it and --> same problem, it didn't work ... (
The fans at full blast before even pressing the "power" button just by plugging in the power connector, no display.)
Thanks for the suggestions.

You're right, sorry for the mistake --> luckily you have an eye!!
I remembered the overhaul of the GL752VW motherboard (which I repaired yesterday and which had the backlight not working).
So the correct caracteristics are :
Model: asus G702VM-GC092T
Motherboard: GL702VM rev 2.0
i7-6700HQ
Chipset :HM170
GTX 1060 6gb
Ram: DDR4 8gb x 1
Serial number (S/N):G9N0WU080134379...

Will this BIOS (which I am going to test) have no impact if the version of my motherboard is Rev 2.0 ?

hi, I saw that you retrieved the BIOS dump for the GL702VM i7-6700 GTX 1060 6GB from the link -> but it (the link) doesn't seem to work!!
Did you keep a copy of the dump to possibly test it on my bricked GL702VM too?
Thanks in advance.

Hello, I confirm, having a GL752VW for which I had also flashed a BIOS dump following an initial corruption.
Following the flashing I had the keyboard backlighting which did not work --> when trying this solution proposed with "bt2": it works AGAIN.
Thank you very much for the author of this TIP!....

Hello, I too encountered this problem with an Asus G702VM-GC092T which has a corrupt BIOS -> no display, no access to the bios. I am looking for a Dump/Bios in version 305 or 306 to reflash it with the programmer ch341A.
In advance, many thanks.

GL752VW Rev2.1 schematic & boardview....
Hello Guys,
i think it is hard to find the GL752VW Rev2.1 schematic and boardview ! I have the same problème like "heso64", i don't know if he had resolved the issue at this time.
My Laptop was in standby and when I wanted to turn it back "on" by pressing a key it was "off". By pressing the "Power" button it did not turn back on and when I removed the plug from the power connector then reconnected -> it turns on with only 3 lights (Power, CAPS LOCK and Airplane mode) and no screen display or BIOS.
I searched and I can't...
