I check resistanse of compaund ​in my board - conductivity absent. Problems in other - that compound from long time lost any elastics and stay as stone, whet i rotate locked by compund screews - compund cracked with part of lacquer board layer, now visible naked metal.
Any ideas how check amplifier chips by multimiter?
Try check capicitors - but, as usually, any correct without dismantling capicitors from board. Bloating or electrolyte leak not found.CapLeaker...

No, not my - i not disassemble that board sandwich yet, i found photo from other repair in intrenet, but my similar MS0730B (al borads in system named MS0730(X)), but looks like my maybe other minor revision, becouse uses capicitors <YEC>(i not found same capicitors on photos), and offcourse lot of compound who lock internal screews - thats reasom dissamble with some tips from community, becouse lot of work....

I have system Creative Gigaworks ProGamer G500 (production 2006 year). Last two months sound began to disappear, triger: use remote but wired volume controller. Sometimes sound system return back to correct mode but after changing volume problems return again. All LED indication concontroller corrects work - but sound absent.
Syndrome : if power off and connect headhones to wired controller - sound in phones play (looks like capicitors discharging) short time.
In google similar problems absent : present solution for unexpected cutting off or damaged amplifier chip....
