The voltages are ok according to what was written on the panel, doubled checked if this was the problem, and it seems to be alright.

My input signal is just the normal TV signal from cable, the cable works fine on my other LCD TV, no snowy picture and its crisp. I see from your post you speak from experience. Do we have to replace them both? The upper and lower buffer to where the y drive board is connected?

I am an experienced electronic technician but due to the unfamiliarity with samsung plasma units I need assistance on fixing this 50" plasma.

I replaced the Y-Main Board. See photo:



The problem is I got a snowy picture on the whole screen. See photo:



What seems to be the problem that is causing the snowy picture? Any ideas on how to fix it?
