Thanks all ... I will get a new TCON but for now the removal of the outer plate is keeping it cool enough to function as designed.

Taking off the shell seemed to do the trick ... Has been running for two hours now. Thanks Mr. Bill and Budm for the assist. I will let it run overnight but so far this has been running longer than I have ever had it. Go figure ... After $220 in parts ... the fix was free!!!!Leave a comment:

Check this out .. I pulled off the TCON shell and look what I found...
BURN MARKS!
Running TV now with shell off / back of TV shell off / Fan pointed at TCON.

Problem:
After watching TV for a random amount of minutes the picture fades out rapidly and I have to turn the TV off/on to see picture again. FADE/POWER/REPEAT.
Tests:
Backlight IS still on.
No picture exists with flashlight check.
Sound works fine whilst picture is absent.
Purchased MB ... still fades out.
Purchased PSU Board .. still fades out.
When picture fades, menus (nor anything) are visible.
After PWR 1/0, TV works immediately until Fade/PWR/RPT.
Hypothesis:
T-Con
Backlight Inverter (But...
No activity results to display
