Hello everyone,

I would like to use this thread for some question about fixing the BIOS on a HP Elitebook x360 1040 G7 laptop.
At this moment I think that the only problem I have is similar to the one bojc had, my BIOS is admin locked.
There are 3 chips that I am eyeing at this moment:
25Q256JVEN (says BIOS next to it on the motherboard)
25Q80DVIG (says UT9 next to it on the motherboard)
25Q128JVPQ (says UEC3 next to it on the motherboard)

First thing I did is disconnect the battery from the motherboard and then I tried to read the data from...

Hi everyone, found this forum while searching for some bios repairs that I have to perform on my laptop.
