Faulty panel.Clock lines are shorting inside the glass. -
Star by checking DP801,804and 805.Then check every mosfet in the primary and for shorts on the secondary supply lines.If you don't find anything obvious and still don't want to risk powering it on,you will have to get your bench psu and scope and start doing some dynamic tests.Leave a comment:

After a rather power surge the display is showing Android for a few seconds and then the display remains blank.I tried firmware recovery by using the reset switch on the board but to no avail.Am I
doing something wrong or is it perhaps that the firmware is corrupted beyond recovery?...
