Yes, you have to still try.
Like max told before :"start just before the logo and change your timing (more or less long)"...

You have to still try, read the thread again, try different timings (always after the motherboard led shows you the full boot). It takes something like 30/40 times for me to enter the bios setup correctly....

Now i have only to set serial number and model with the lenovo U1 tool...

After many attempts I was able to enter the bios setup in which only one DATE/TIME entry appeared.
I set the correct time and kept trying but just went back to the same bios menu.
(I am using an external keyboard without disconnecting anything from the motherboard) (only the speaker for the annoying beep)

I've a T14 NM-C931 rev1. after many tries with no lucky it now show me before the logo also if not shorted:
0271 Check date and time
0188 RFID serialization inform area (or something like that)
2200 machine type and serial number are invalid
( before start to try i disconnected the big battery and also the button one and the check date and time error started for this)
Is this normal so i should still try?
In a post before i read to not short before the backlight, is still valid or with mec 1663 no?
Thanks in advance for any advice...
