Re: Toshiba LED Backlight problem
Thank you for your time, are you saying take it off as it looks cooked anyway? is there anything I can put on whilst its powered up to see if the led lights up or not? I don't know much about this side of things as you can gather :-)

Re: Toshiba LED Backlight problem
I've managed to find a burnt area directly underneath the Led connector, I am thinking of just bridging this, I suspect it to be a fuse? Anyone tell from the pics what this is please? Thank you
Looks like pictures didn't upload properly here they are again, Pic 1 is the only (Burnt) component I can find
Pic 2 is the plastics directly underneath where this component lies (Burnt plastic residue) I think...Last edited by leeno382; 10-29-2015, 02:31 PM.

Toshiba LED Backlight problem
Hi Guys
I have made an mistake whilst changing the Led Screen ive left the battery in whilst unplugging and plugging the new screen in, this has now caused the backlight to go, I can see the dark icons but the screen light wont work.
The backlight was working fine before hand, the new screens have been tested and both are ok, I cannot find the Schematic or the fuse for this backlight on the board model, here is the Model if anyone can please help me out, much appreciated thank you

Hi Guys and girls, i am new to this forum, and thought id see if anyone is able to help me out, I have recently been given a 50" plasma the samsung ps-50q7hd and my mate who give me it told me it had this fault with it, that i thought wouldnt be anything major to fix, (I am a pc engineer) and fancied my chances, it turns on great operates as normal, but the its got loads of green dots over about 3/4 of the screen, i come across a site that the guy said alter the vscan to adjust the image which i did, and the picture immediately went 50% better, but there still there? does anyone have a rough...
