I already checked that too.

Measured resistance between 19V main rail and all CPU Vcore inductors — all show OL, no leakage from VIN to Vcore.

So the phases don’t appear to be leaking. It looks like the CPU may have failed internally on its own rather than due to a power rail issue....

Removed all 4 Vcore inductors to isolate CPU from VRM.

Measurements:

VRM side: OL to ground on all phases
CPU side: ~0.2 Ω to ground on all phases (identical)

Checked the 8-pin MOSFETs in diode mode after removing the inductors — all show about 0.44 V one way and OL the other, so they appear normal.

Earlier test: 0.8 V injected → ~1.5 A draw, thermal camera shows hotspot in the center of the CPU package.

At this point it looks like internal CPU short / dead CPU.

Approved?!...
