    I knew it was a bad idea going to maplins lol many thanks for your help with this is it possible to use ones i got for a motherboard pc they are lscon PR+105 25v 1000uf i have been reading alot of different types to use can you possilbe give me a good link to understanding of it more clearly before i do replace the caps even tho i will order a new board but it will be handy to have a go at it

    If i bought a replacement power board do you think that would be the source of the problem i cant see any other caps damaged is it possible for me to use 25v 1000uf caps to replace the 16v 1000uf damaged ones

    17pw16-2 v1 190608 s/n on board 26431913 auot42oxjb s/n on board i have attached pictures of main boards i have noticed 2 black and gold caps 16v 1000uf are damaged the tv was working fine the next morning it went on then off now only green light with black screen this be first time fixing lcd tv i worked with cars for years and repaired computers i do have a full soldering kit ty for your help

  • Help with xenius lcd42

    i have a xenuis model lcdx42whd88 is there any service manuals to repair it. i have green power light and black screen when the channel button is pressed green light dims but no picture sorry inadvance new to forum and fixing own tv ty.
