Hi the problem is that the BIOS is locked, so I can't get in to the laptop, therefore I can't download the BIOS dump or anything else. Thanks... -
Hi I have an HP Probook 650 4G, i5 8th gen, running Windows 10 I believe, it is an old business laptop from an insurance company and is windows locked to the company account, the BIOS is also password locked, so I can't do a factory reset on it.
Firstly, would changing the BIOS chip unlock it if it?
Secondly, which of the two BIOS chip on the motherboard is the one I need to change, or is it both.
