I have a working Samsung model UN55C7000WF that has two small vertical black lines down the middle and then a bunch of them on the right side. I've attached pictures of the two locations. I haven't taken it apart yet and thought I'd see if anyone knew what could be the cause of this i.e. capacitors, power supply, buffer boards, etc.
Thanks....

Flashing white screen on Apex Model #LD3288M
I have an Apex LD3288M that when you power it up the screen continuously flashes white. I haven't opened up the back, which I plan to do shortly, but was wondering if anyone has experienced a similar issue and provide some direction to head on this.

Re: 50" Samsung Plasma HP-T5054X/XAA won't power up and clicks
Just tried the suggestion from drpj23 to disconnect the y-main board and I believe that did it!!! Instead of the clicking it made a little do-do-do-do chime that sounded a lot like it was happy (or trying to turn on). Next step, new Y-main board...hoping I didn't mess up the refurbished Y-buffers since I had attached them to the Y-main that was bad. I think I saw an offer to fix all three for $79 on eBay I may try...
Thanks to all for your suggestions. I'll update status once I get a new or refurbished...

50" Samsung Plasma HP-T5054X/XAA won't power up and clicks
[FONT="Arial"][SIZE="3"]I have a 50" Samsung Plasma TV, Model HP-T5054X/XAA that won't power up. When I plug in the power cable there is a clicking noise that goes for a couple of seconds, then stops, and then starts clicking again.
I first looked online and saw something about a bad power board, so I bought a tested one online and put it in...no change.
We then had a Samsung Repair Tech over to look at an LCD we were having problems with and he was nice enough to look at this Plasma and quickly pointed to a bad chip on the upper Y-Buffer Board....

Samsung Plasma HP-T5054 won't power up and clicks when plugged in
I have a 50" Samsung Plasma (Model #HP-T5054) that will not power on. When I plug in the power cord, there is one or two clicks and a green led goes on on one of the internal boards, but no power. It will then wait about 5-7 seconds and try again before clinking.
In searching the internet, I read that it could be a bad power board, so I bought a used, but working, power board BN44-00190A and switched it out for the one in there. When I plugged in the power cord, same clicking problem. I'm not sure if it's a different board (such as the one with the green LED that is mounted...Last edited by dlhodgson; 07-12-2012, 10:57 AM.

Re: Video Issues with Samsung LCD LN46B640R3F
So I guess I should keep on trying to clean the connections on the t-con card like retiredcaps suggest...which ones are the capacitors so I can double check them?
Thanks for the response - would have been embarrassing if I contacted Samsung and was talking about the wrong thing!

Re: Video Issues with Samsung LCD LN46B640R3F
So I opened the back up and started to get to the T-Con Board as you recommended. It looked OK and then I looked at the board with the capacitors on it and found mayhem!!! I counted 21 Capacitors that look to be bad as they're spilling goo out of them.
At this point, I still can't believe this model is not part of the Samsung Capacitor Class Action Lawsuit so I may send these pictures to them. However, they never responded to the last two messages I sent them showing the pictures of the TV screen I posted on this forum....

Video Issues with Samsung LCD LN46B640R3F
I have a 46" Samsung LCD that is having some serious video issues. It started 3-4 months ago as thin black lines running horizontally across the screen (and from top to bottom, every 1/4"-1/2" or so). This was an annoyance, but it wasn't a deal breaker as you could still watch shows and the lines weren't very noticeable unless you knew they was there. Well, they annoyed me but my wife didn't notice them much.
Then after about 2 months, the screen started to get random red and yellow vertical lines. They would come on after a minute (or less) of viewing and seemed...
