Another question for you wonderful Badcap people.

My Latitude 5440 has two bios chips: an EC Bios and a main Bios.

Question: In order to remove the password from the bios, do both bios chips need to be patched or only the main bios chip?

Kindly asking for removal of locked bios password.
Latitude 5440, LA-M401P Rev:1.0(A00), Service Tag: CJ1KCY3.
I'm unable to use the 8FC8 Bios Password Patcher.
