As referenced in another thread, I'm having issues with an Emachines T6216. Upon inspection of the processor, it appears that its an AMD Athlon 64 3200+ with model number ADA3200DAA4BW and of socket type 939. From a quick Amazon search, I've landed on this motherboard as a possible replacement.
The only thing that I'm aware of worrying about is a possible necessity for an official Windows install and an ide to sata converter...

Would This Be A compatible Board Replacement?

Bad Emachines T6216 Motherboard
Just writing in because I'm not sure what else I can do at this point.
When I press the power button, the only thing that comes on is the fan and the board will not POST.
Here are the things I've tried thus far:
1. Replacing bad capacitors. There was a line of 4 visibly bulging ones close to the processor.
2. Swapping out PSU. I tried two seperate power supplies which were the OEM one and one from a dell dimension 2400.
3. Cleared CMOS. I attempted to clear it by using both the battery removal and jumper pin technique....
