• Please ignore my post above to remove the password from the BIOS file. From my understanding the BIOS file is split between two chips on this laptop. I only have the dump from one of the chips in the post above. I will try to get a dump from the other chip and post again. Thank you.
The Service Tag and Express Service Code is in the zipped file.

• Thank you for letting me know. I do not have any training in electronics. I know to look for a SOP8 chip. I guess I will have to take the motherboard out and look for it on the other side. If I knew that I would have not bought them off eBay. I have two that I plan to give to my grandchildren. Is there a way to know if it is a BIOS chip or not? I did a Google search and it did not tell me one way or another. All it brought up is the data sheet. The only thing I know to look for on that is the voltage.

Let me know if I posted this in the wrong thread. I just have a question. What programmer are you using to read the BIOS chip? I have the RT809F and I just bought ch341a v1.7. Neither one of these seem support the chip. The chip I am trying to read is WINBOND 25Q80DVSIG. Am I trying to read the right chip? I am new to programming.
