The KBC/EC/superIO chip in my laptop died so I have to change it, does anyone know if it is programmed automatically when I change it or should I do it manually? It know it has an external eeprom, but someone told me it usually needs to be programmed the first time with a JTAG adapter, If I have to do it manually, how do I do it? this is my first time doing something related to this chip in all the laptops I've had so far
