I need your advice/help with this Benq FP75G 8 years old. It was dead, all caps were bulged, I change them all, LCD woke up, but it show the image attached.
I will check tomorrow; the board is at my office. I will post also a good picture from top side.
So about 12 hours from now I will post pictures from top side.
Here are the pictures https://onedrive.live.com/?cid=C6176F02A4DEE3D4&id=c6176f02a4dee3d4%211954&v=photosRe: Samsung 730BF schematic
I will post the pics later tonight at 6:00 PM EET.
budm I check almost everything. Caps are good, transformers ok, mosfets ok, inverters ok.
Now the power led is solid green but the CCFL lamps won't power on. I have 5 V and 13... So I am in a big cloud
Capsized, first post a clear picture of the PSU. Or give us the P/N.
Also check this link. I think this is your power board... http://www.aliexpress.com/item/LCD-Monitor-Power-Board-Unit-FSP050-1PI01-BN44-00127G-For-Samsung-204BW-PCB/1648820594.htmlRe: Samsung 204BW LCD monitor<br />

Re: A guide on how to troubleshoot 2 seconds to black
Thank you for this amazing tutorial!
In my case (RPC LCD - junk with PSU Mirage PI-170DTLA) it was one CCFL lamp; I tested with one took from a Samsung LCD and voila, evrika... no more 2 seconds to black!!! Of course I changed all caps and IC202 and IC203.
So, check the CCFL lamps! It's complicated to disassembly.
Per Hanson I have good news. My guess is they are OST because the small ones rated at 1000uF-6.3V are the same. I talk about second picture. If I will find identical MB then I will know for sure.
I put Matsushita and voila, the MB is stable and don't power down. Right now I run 3DMark2001 in loop. We will see tomorrow if the board is stable .
stj look carefully at image I posted. They are not polymeric caps! And the picture is original from AsRock site.
You think is a good ideea to email AsRock?
Yes, I know.
The caps are missing GOD knows why. My guess is someone took them out. Me and my colleague are trying to repair this MB.
We have 2 MB and same scenario. Both have missing caps(6), post it and when you try to boot in XP live from hiren then shut down.
I will email AsRock support and ask them for missing caps values.
Now I am very intrested. I will change all the caps, but if I do not know the missing 6 caps values it's useless...
