Re: Benq FP51g turning off completely after few seconds
What you are saying is that if either of the lamp lights up,the monitor switches off.
Please check voltage on big mains filter 68uf 450V which should be stable around 320V. If this voltage drops when backlight lights up ,the Capacitor needs to be replaced.

Re: Prestigio P3221W 22', power supply problem
Check the voltage across this capacitor and should be stable around 15V. If so you should replace capacitors on both 5V and 12V line.
If you have already recapped you should check around the optocoupler and 3 pin reference Ic TL431 IC203. Also the 12V will normally feed only the inverter and does not go to control board or LCD.

Re: Prestigio P3221W 22', power supply problem
I would suggest you replace the startup capacitor.I can't make out the part no. on the first pix but it is the small capacitor next to heatsink and connected to D201,value maybe 47uf 50V or similar.

Re: Dell 2408WFPb / 2408WFP - No Power
The startup capacitor is C606 also C611 47uf 50V could be defective as also IC701 TL431 as per two of the posters here.

Re: Dell E176FPb (highvoltage)
The voltage across mains filter will be about 320Vdc,it's normal. If you have replaced MOSFET and low value resistor labelled 4 please confirm what value you have replaced with.It should be about 0.5 ohms. There maybe other resistors which are open or PWM IC.
Post better pictures.

Re: Samsung Syncmaster 245BW
From the intermittent nature of problem described by you and going into test / service mode I have a suspicion that your keypad assembly may have leaky switches which would account for this behaviour.
Check the voltages and if all seem ok suspect the operation keypad.

If you are referring to C007 it is shown as 5 uf by HAHOMETP. See the list of capacitors posted by him.

Re: benq gl2450 no power
In the component view of Powerboard the bottom right corner is scorched below which is a smd Mosfet.Check that for shorts and voltage on all 3 legs.
When you press power switch does orange light switch off ?
Seems the smd mosfet and or 16pin chip below it could be defective. These components feed the LED backlight of the panel.

NEC Multisync LCD2190UXp display shutdown
I have this NEC Multisync LCD monitor of 2010 with problem of 5 secs to black.
If the brightness is reduced to 25 % the monitor works happily for 4-5 hours.
When brightness is at 100% display will shutdown in 5-10 secs and front power indicator turns to flashing amber. When display is working this light is solid green and when shutdown light turns amber with 3 quick flashes >> off >> 3 quick flashes.
All supply voltages are normal .The 12V supply to Inverter which is 11.8V at low brightness becomes 11.7V at full brightness which seems reasonable...Last edited by viziks; 02-19-2015, 03:10 AM.

Re: Samsung n710 S power off when vga connected
Please monitor the voltage across mains filter,Normally should be a constant 320Vdc.If this voltage is stable then you need to check +5V and +12V and see which one shuts down. There can be a short mosfet driving the Inverter transformer.
If you do not connect VGA cable does the monitor remain on with front display showing "No Signal "?
Have you replaced the Vga board from working monitor to confirm which of the 2 board is defective ?Last edited by viziks; 12-05-2014, 04:18 AM.

Re: Samsung n710 S power off when vga connected
Does the monitor shutdown completely like switched off "No power,No Led" ?
I have fixed 2 such monitors by replacement of mains filter 450V one although from your picture of board it was a different board. See my post below :

Re: Samsung 710
I have just fixed 2 such monitors and in both cases mains filter (100uf 450V Capxon KM ) were defective. Problem was Pix came for a second and then powers off then on again repetitively. Check voltage across capacitor should be 320V stable if you have 240V supply.

Re: HP L1906 Monitor
Hi,I have replaced these 3 caps on 20 such monitors and all have worked with only this replacement.
I have 1 more of this which has no Display.
I am looking for a schematic,I could find only AOC versions ,this says PX849A but I cant find any schematic.
It uses 2 FETs in Inverter Q104 D413 and Q105 D454 of which Q105 shows short between D and S in circuit but FET chck Ok on disonnecting Source (S) of FET.
Any help would be appreciated .
A schematic would be most helpful.

Re: 2 Sec to black strange problem
Check the Inverter transformers, there may be variation between the resistance readings of primary windings of both Inverter transformers.

Re: Dell Monitor has "No Power"!!
Did you check the switches ?
The voltages are correct,No problem with power section.

Re: Wiewsonic VE710b black screen Flashing
Please also check 0.22uf condensers between the 2 C5707 transistors.Defective capacitor will cause transistors to overheat.
I hope you must have also checked and resoldered both inverter transformers near the transistors "100179 ".

Re: Dell Monitor has "No Power"!!
This is a BenQ board with C5707 transistors in Inverter. Check Voltages on the 2 diodes mounted on heatsink at bottom left of picture. There should be 5V and 12V on them.
If voltages are present the problem is either a defective main board or defective key switches. Since you say this problem resolved itself initially and worked for a year there are distinct chances of the six micro switches being leaky and causing this problem.Remove connection fom mainboard and check switches individually. If any switch shows leakage replace all...

Re: Need firmware and guide to flash Benq T903
I agree ,but the switch may not be physically stuck.
Replace all 6 micro switches. One or more is leaky and causes,No operation, menu coming on,etc. This is a routine problem with certain lots of benq monitors....
