LG 60pv250 plasma tv issue
I have a LG 60pv250, picture look good except for some what looks like noise that flashes on and off in certain areas across the screen. Grainy pic splotches. Looks like it would be an area across the screen horizontally. Also the tv stays on for probably 2-3 mins and then turns itself off. I can turn it back on but cycle continues. If I unplug the YSUS board the tv will stay on forever but no picture of course but have audio. Would this point to a bad YSUS board? I have already touched up the bad solder joints on the coils on this board as its a known issue. If it is a bad YSUS board do I have... -

Vizio VT420M No Back Light
I have a Vizio VT420M that has the orange vizio light when turned on and no backlight. Here are the voltages reading on the power supply/main board connector CN9102.

My problem was in fact a bad main board. I got another one and it worked flawlessly. If your backlight doesnt come on at all I would look at your voltages on the power supply first. As far as the inverter board it is the board at the far left of your tv looking at the back of it. Have you tried using a flashlight and seeing if you see any thing on the screen? If you dont see anything at all it may be more than just the inverter board.Leave a comment:

All 3 of the connectors I measured go to and from the powersupply and main board. CN301 is in the upper right corner of the power supply, CN302 and CN303 right under it. I have uploaded the pics of the chassis, main board (green one on the right with all the jacks) and power supply (yellowish orange board)...Leave a comment:

Sony KDL-46S4100 No Backlight Video or Audio
I have a Sony KDL-46S4100 that the backlight will not come on. Power light turns on steady no flashing. Even with a source plugged in you cannot get the input to switch to it to turn on the screen. If I disconnect connector CN303 I get the Blue, Red, Green test pattern. So I know the inverter board, panel and backlight work. I tried a different main or A board and had the same results they both have the exact numbers just different serial's at the bottom. Tested the fuse on the T-con board and getting power through it. Here are the voltages I am getting at the power supply connectors:

Well it ended up being a bad tab on the upper left side of the panel. Fixed it with some foam insulationLeave a comment:

Thanks for the part #'s that will make life alot easier. any idea which ones are the 2 that run to the T-con board and the short one between the main board and the logic control board above the main board?

Ok replaced the T-conn board and the logic board to the right of it that the LVDM cables plug into. Still same problem. Could it be a power supply problem as it comes and goes? I dont think its the tab bonding problem as I have an sanyo tv with that problem. Any ideas? Any test points on the power supply to double check voltages? All the caps look great no bulging.Leave a comment:

Well I tried unplugging the cables that go from the tcon board to the other logic board and plugged them back in one more time while the tv was on. Have done this a bunch of times to make sure they were seated good. Of course the screen went blank and when i plugged them in i just got a blue screen with some lines at the top. turned it off and back on perfect picture and has been that way for about an hour now.

Can you all look at the attached pics and see if you can figure out what is going on? I thought i had it fixed with just a loose ribbon cable because it worked for about a week then it started doing the ghosting again. Possibly the T-con board ??
