I am a collector of vintage computers and am trying to revive a motherboard from Gateway 2000 486 machine. It has an Intel Classic R mobo. It would boot into CMOS and you could make changes and save, but when you tried to boot from floppy or hard drive it would always say the drives failed. Because of past experience with bad tantalums and Aluminum Electrolytics, I tested those first with a multimeter.
