Yeah, I don't need the port repaired as the other port did power as well. It just won't power on atm. Something got shorted....

I've been learning slowly over the past few years and when my daughter's laptop stopped charging, I joined this forum. I've learned enough in the last few days to know I am in over my head[B] so I am hoping someone can recommend somewhere that does logic board repair, in Canada if possible[/B]. I would also love to use this as a learning experience so I am going to post the information below and would love some instruction on diagnosing the issue before I send it off.

What happened was one of the USB C ports became loose, I asked my daughter not to use it however she would forget....
