Just a thought: I do have a second WECP-20 unit - could I just use the transformer from that and use them two in parallel? They would then share the load, methinks. Someone wiser, put a word
Ooops, my bad for not being clear enough... I'm running a WSP80 with WECP-20, which is a 50VA thingy. And if I push temp over 350 °C it starts chirping a bit
Hehe, finally got around to do this, though I didn't have a drill to work with. Just plain soldering iron, with some stiff copper wire wrapped on it - on I went. The transformer indeed does hum a bit, and stops at some point, but this could be that I had just WP80 to go with. Overall - satisfied. Still need to try and source that transformer Gosh year and a half
Hmm... wc_robot has srf10150 where I have srf10-20. That's weird. Also, I remeasured that 10-20 and it seems shot - dmm shows 0,002V for forward voltage.
Now, are there any suitable replacements for those Schottky's mentioned, SRF10-10 and SRF10-20? Also, that MOSFET, AP2761P-A? Just on the safe side for the future...
I've beem unable to do a thing on this. We moved recently and subsequently filed for divorce... Currently I'm trying to study at TUAS, but not on full power as I have both depression and panic attacks. I just hope I get my own apartment, then I think I can focus on these things better.
Thanks Rtech. I'll need to check the diodes (did you mean those 1N4148's I already changed?) and the mosfet - thanks for pointers
wc_robot: There's an ongoing auction @ ebay, which has suitable board - I think that might be for you: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Hannspree-HF23-Parts/390450714134?ssPageName=WDVW&rd=1&ih=026&category=168068&cmd=ViewItem as the seller will only ship to states.Re: Repairing a FujitsuSiemens LSL32...you mean those
The adapter arrived, but I'm no too satisfied. The picture looks a bit fuzzy... I just cannot help but wonder if I could hack this PSU into my dead fujitsu...
Hehe, forgot totally about that. The monitor isn't on use currently, due to lack of DVI to VGA adapter... Duh. Will take a few weeks to get here. ordered one from DX yesterday.
Well, another dump find - asked the girl that brought it there what's wrong, and she told me that the power button doesn't work. Cracked the case open and the red plastic that acts as power button had separated itself from the black plastic of the bezel. Tiny strip of duct tape, and the case is closed.
Silly thing to use two tiny blobs of melt in order to attach a heavily used button...
