If they're still under their original warranty, Lenovo might be able to help. I seem to remember that some Lenovo machines use Insyde BIOS which do have some unlocking tools, but that may not apply to newer models. If you do try flash a new BIOS with the CH341A, definitely do a backup first

For point 1, I'd say having a look at the free version of the Veeam agent as that might work for you.
For point 2, Paragon Hard Disk Manager with its WinPE ISO has been really useful (and reliable) for cloning.

Hello everyone,
I arrived here to get more knowledge about soldering and electronics repair in general, mainly prompted by YouTubers like Richard from 'Learn Electronics Repair' and Adrian from 'Adrian's Digital Basement'.
