Simply put someone got into this pcb and im not sure what they did if they did any thing its just the 24v that i can tell is the issue

I tested it in circuit its a 220uf i was getting pretty close i replaced the three freen caps the dark and light blue ones also a total of 7 caps replaced with no results im debating ordering a referb replacment for around 65.00

The 300v tops out around 360 and bounces between that and 380 once its up that high the 24 comesup to 24-25vdc

Would it be a bad idea to inject a 24V signal in from an outside variable power supply

I did try that but same results im thinking about shotgunning the caps cant hurt shouldent b to expensive

If i let it charge i can get to the point where the lamps kick on real quick then shut off

My meter was on dc it hit 320 and was slowly still climbing all the small caps had dotd on them.from the factory they dont seem bulged

The 12v and 5v supplies are immediate but the 24 takes a minute to come up and levels off around 25v

The black things are spacers to keep the bottom from touching the tv metal shell i also repaired a trace with buss wire that is what i am guessing you are talking about yes they are for parts on the fron of the board

With just the ac that 450vdc cap hit 300+ not sure whar that tells us

I get no response from the tv once plugged in i hear the innitial relay kick over but it stops there

Well my main consern is how to test that this pcb is working properly. Dont want to put time and money into somthing thats fine is there a way to test the main pcb in the unit and more pictures arpund two

Already went through the basics fuse and diodes those white things are 3watt resistors they test out fine also

Also the 5vdc stand by and 12vdc supplies are there when nothing but ac is hooked into it

The blue cap is a 2000v 22nj and the big cap is not leaking the problem is the television will not power up id love to tell you what it did as it died only problem is i am attempting to save it from the dump kinda wanted it for my garage
