Dell Poweredge SC420 Motherboard
There were 6 blown caps.
5 x Nichicon 1000uf 10v
1 x KZL 2200uf 6.3v
And these were replaced by,
5 x Rubycon 1000uf 10v
1 x Rubycon 2200uf 6.3v
And now the motherboard works fine!...

Two Hanns-G 19" LCD HW-191D Monitors Repaired
1. First HW-191D Repair
This one's power supply had 8 caps blown.
5 x Elite 470uf 25v
1 x Elite 470uf 10v
2 x Elite 1000uf 10v
And these were replaced by
5 x Rubycon 470uf 25v
1 x Nichicon 470uf 10v
2 x Rubycon 1000uf 10v
2. Second HW-191D Repair
Another same model I repaired. This one only had 4 caps blown.
4 x Elite 470uf 25v
and as well, these were replaced by
4 x Rubycon 470uf 25v...

Viewsonic VX2235wm Monitor Repair
This monitor would power on, but the screen remained black.
So, I suspected it might be the power inverter that's causing this symptom.
I opened the case, and found several blown caps on the inverter or the power supply.
By the way, I forgot to picture the inverter PCB.
The blown ones were two Capxon 1000uf 25v caps and three Capxon 220uf 25V caps.
They were replaced by Rubycon caps with the same specs.
Now the monitor works perfectly....

Dell Dimension 2300, A Total Recap
A couple weeks ago, I repaired the motherboard inside a Dell Dimension 2300,
there were blown caps all over the place. Not to mention they were all soldered with lead free, the holes were so deep it was very difficult to desolder to take the caps out. I have made too many damages on the PCB. Nonetheless, I have finally managed to replace all the bad caps. Here are the 17 ~ 19 blown caps that I took out. It was insane. The funny thins is that the motherboard was still working fine with all those blown caps. I have the same computer, and the motherboard had the same capacitor blown like the original poster, RollMe, uploaded. In my case, only one OST capacitor blown.
Please refer to the pictures I have uploaded. The symptoms I kept getting was
the frequent blue screens of death saying there are problems with system files or the system memory. Then one day, the computer completely died. It would power on with fan blowing, but no POST. So, I read RollMe's solution in this thread, tried to replace the blown cap. However, I ONLY replaced the blown cap...
