Re: Samsung LN2353H - Bad Power Supply BN44-00158A
Everything is disconnected from the board...Still no power. The jumper is from PS_On to 5V Standby. CM602 has been replaced with no change. RM801 measures .5ohms out of circuit. No hole in the back of the IC...Last edited by Xlr8r; 01-25-2014, 10:48 AM.

Samsung LN2353H - Bad Power Supply BN44-00158A
Hello,
I have this TV that has a bad power supply. I thought it was just going to be a bulging cap on the output. Replaced all the caps but still no go. So I started checking my voltages on the output and the only thing that is working is the 5V standby. All other voltages are missing. They all show 0V. When I have the PSU in the TV it Cycles on and off... I have since taken it out and jumpered with a resister the standby 5V to the PS_ON to turn on the Power Supply and the Voltage across the large cap comes up to 385V from 190V But still get nothing on any of the outputs. There...

LG 26LC7D with Wide Discolored Vertical Line
Trying to figure out what is causing this wide line on this set. I first thought it maybe a cable that wasn't in properly but have messed around with all of them. Cleaned all of them and get the same. Would the T-Con board do this to the picture, or is this a bad panel?
Does this on all inputs and shows up when you have the menu up.
-In the picture you can see the line start about in the middle of the screen and go over about 5 inches to the right. It usually gives off a green color.
Any Help?...

Re: Insignia NS-32E740A12 Does not Power On.
If anyone is interested or for future reference. I couldn't find out what was wrong on the main board but I replaced it, and the TV now works.
Thanks!

Insignia NS-32E740A12 Does not Power On.
Hello Everyone,
Just trying to keep this LCD from the trash/recycle. When first plugged in the red led does light up on the front of the TV. When the power button is pushed you get nothing from the set. No relay click, backlight, or anything. So the first thing I checked was the voltages on the Power Supply. I do get the 5 volt standby. When I manually told the Power Supply to turn on by jumpering the 5V and the PSON the power supply does turn on, and I get good voltages for everything. 5V, 12V, & 24V all look good. I can also tell when the power switch is pressed the line for...
