UPDATE:
Ok I removed the top buffer and and still no picture, replaced top buffer and removed bottom buffer and now I have half a picture?

Firstly thank you for providing such a huge site of knowledge!
I have been looking round the internet for some time today looking for information on my problem and most of the searches i came across lead me here.
So anyway here is my problem..... (common problem from what I've read)
Yes you guessed it... No picture but I have sound.
It is just out of warranty but LG agreed to fix it if the problem was under £250. An engineer called today to tell me I needed a new Y-SUS board and 2 Scan Modules (he must be good...
