Hey guys got laptop like above. Came to me with shorted main power rail and battery protecion on ( 0V on output). Got rid of short but nothing. Bench power supply says it takes nothing, but still got all voltages 1,2v,3.3v,5v - all good. Thermal cam showed nothing is starting even for a sec. I believe that since all coils etc are good resistance to ground it's probably one of chips. Can be IO chip or maybe something else? Could somebody help me out with this one - it's blowing my mind lol

I got MSI laptop with board number MS- 016Q21 Version 1.0 - guy told me it's Ge63 but i'm not so sure about that and there are no stickers at all...
So it came to me with "broken input port" but that was not true. When i plugged charger i've smell plastic, but board looked like started, fans were spinning, cpu,gpu were getting hot etc. (don't have lab power supply for 19v so no idea how much amps it took) i've used 80W power supply 19,5V 4,74A. Yet nothing on screen, nothing on HDMI. Didn't look like restarting (i've unplugged bios battery). So i took the board out...
