Just had another failure today. Makes absolutely zero sense to me. I have been using this drive regularly(multiple times weekly from my last post) for moving things around from computer to computer. Had the exact same thing happen again but on a different computer as I have disposed of that other computer. For some reason the drive simply doesn't power up at all. Took it apart again, split the case and take out the 6 screws, used my meter to ohm out the fuse, tested fine. Plugged in the same cable, same usb port, after testing the fuse and now it powers back on again.
