Try going back....to before you unsoldered the chip
Then flash with the appropriate flash bios program and correct bin file.
Ahh ......that would break the laws of time !
Most soldered eproms have a couple of access pcb tracks to facilitate on board serial programming.
Maybe Bin... is the correct term

Then spend a few extra quid on a small range off NEW HQ
caps for calibration of said meter ,OUT OF CIRCUIT test...its the only way you will ever know,If its Accurate !
Known Calibration is essential.
IMHO IN Circuit testing of Capacitors is a practice frought with disaster...
No matter what the blurb says !

Well yes ..and no
Not expecting much.......
The 37 I got off ebay for £40 turned up, reportedly working with no image and shading in ,
One corner of the screen....Powered it up and...it works fine ! ?

No evidence of the reported fault ,although after a few hours of use.
The sound has slight odd low freq rumblings...and the PSU noise increases
In comparison to a cold start.......Badcaps are Suspected !

Install Zeus ,
Right click on the HTML manual file,
Select "Open with" Internet explorer,...dont work with firefox.
The file should open with an active x warning in IE...
Allow active x control in the warning bar ,(right click)
And the manual should open....if parts dont appear or it refuses to open,
Your IE security settings are to high ,lower the security level.
Looks like the part no's are not on the schematic,
D203 appears to be a standard Ultra fast schottky diode ..3A should do it.

I have done all of the above !
If you study the schematic there is a toshiba service socket on the PCB,
With only a couple of pins connected ,USB data a+b +gnd,
This is where the firmware is flashed (I think ?)
But that would need the propriatry toshiba software and (bin)files.
I worked for a tosh CRT TV service dept about 10 years ago and there were loads of grumbles then about people playing with service menus ,
Rendering their sets useless !!

Yep spot on,
For PC
Install Zeus ,right click on the HTML ,file open with Internet Explorer ,
Allow Active X Control ......job done,If it still don,t open IE's security level is to high... lower it !
Hope the following clears a few mysteries up
Got another board for my 37"........Board is marked 32,Vendor said it was from a 37...wrong.
(sticker in one corner)

AT least 3-5 ? logic switches to get this beast powered up ?
Disconnect the psu and simulate the power up sequence ....check and monitor the PSU first
With a 60w bulb for load on the Power tx output.
Or use a variac
Depends on OPs experience with the iron ?

Indeed there are many .
From the schematic they sit at the input to and from every regulator and
critical chip Vcc,there are quit a few supplies on this board...
2 x 3.3 v
1 X 5V
1 X 1.2V
1 X 1.8V
1 X 2.6V
All derived from the PSU @
1 X 5v
1 X 12v
1 X 18v (audio)
1 X 24v high current for the supply
All "FL" components read very low ohms as would a fuse.
All inductors are designated with an "L"

PSU board no SRV2169WW
Main AV board PE0630
Mine has a stuck in standby fault (due to the micro not sending a power TV
sig back to the PSU)AC det, 5V OK,Power on to PSU ok ,but the second TV on signal from the micro ...no go ?
With the PSU disconected it can be forced to fire up the 24v high current
