Now the laptop works, but still shows tpm alert. Is the tpm a separate chip on the board? Maybe it is actually damaged?
With bios 1.3.0 everything works fine. The problem appeared after update to 1.20. I saw error during bios update Intel Me (not sure).LBTT1121...Leave a comment:

Could you tell my what was wrong? Or what did you do?
In the meantime I used autopacher and motherboard start with 0183 error (Bad CRC of security settings). But in this case I can'y enter the bios (LCD freeze at "Entering Setup...").
I also try to clear ME, but after upload outgoing.bin, LCD also was dead....Leave a comment:

Hi all, this is my first post in this forum.
I have a problem with Lenovo T480. I bought this laptop with faulty motherboard i am trying to fix it. Motherboard when powered up, plays a melody and after a while shuts down. Display is blank.
I suspect the bios chip, because I see traces of tampering with this chip. I took a from BIOS chip and EC. Could someone take a look to see if the content is correct?
Maybe some additional advice on what I should check?
