Re: Panasonic TH-L32C30D On 3 Blinks
Hi Tiku,
I cannot tell you much about the universal tv boards as they are very dependent on the firmware available for that panel. There are also firmware-less universal tv boards available.
As for the blinking error code , got this on fixya.com
One Blink:*One blink of the power LED indicates a problem in the inverter circuit located on the LCD panel. The inverter board is not to be repaired in the field. Therefore a replacement is required.
Three Blinks:*Three blinks of the power LED indicates an over-current...

Panel data:

A quick google search gave this, a driver board needed before it can be connected to a universal TV board.

Re: UA55KU6000WXXY Samsung Mainboard need identify part
Hi,
I need help to diagnose the problem either with mainboard or with the Panel ( suspected to be Cracked). The original mainboard boots up, get the backlights ON and the boot-up sound is also there, but the HV_IN_12V is at 0V.
The replacement board from ebay is boot-looping and I can not measure any realistic voltages on any test points.
I'll post some clear pictures of the panel when ON and the test point pictures as soon as I get the time to open it up again. For ref, I have one in the 1st post.
In...

Bad news. Got the main board from ebay, but it is continuously boot looping. Cannot get any voltage at the test point shown in the first pic either. Asked ebay seller to help or refund.any other avenues i can follow? Your help is very much appreciated. Cannot get hold of the original main board either.

Samsung UA55ES6200M bad panel
Hi,
Just acquired a Samsung UA55ES6200M which originally did display picture for an instant then no picture. Backlight is good throughout.
Did the tcon test by disconnecting left and then right side of the cable to panel and identified that right side looking from the front of the tv was faulty. Masked the first 2 pins from the right, with the scotch tape and the panel started showing full screen. But then there are horizontal lines in the lower half. Also, the right side looks dark and solarised. Need your expertise and help in resolving it. Pictures are as attached....

Re: LG 42LN5400 Works intermittently
For the power supply problem, the fault was very obvious in that the fuse was fused () i.e. open. Could not identify any shorts in the rest of the board or any other components but I think the PFC was already on its way out. Powered it up using a 60W incandescent bulb in place of the fuse and then the magic smoke and popping sounds appeared. Thankfully, those components which self destructed were readily and cheaply available as compared to the power supply board ( AUD 3 V/S AUD 30 + shipping for power supply board) and turned out to be a...

Re: LG 42LN5400 Works intermittently
I worked on 2 LN5400's last week. 1st one had a catastrophic failure in power-supply board, taking out the PFC IC, MOSFET, Fusible resistor and a few passives on the SMD component side. Got those parts from alibaba and replaced and the TV is good since then.
The other one had a bad T-CON board, caused by bursting of SMD Cap near a tiny FET or the other way round. Replaced the T-CON board that time as I could not identify the FET nor the SMD Cap.

Re: Sony KDL-37XBR6 Black Screen
Try dis-connecting one at a time the 2 blue ribbon connector from T-CON board to the panel and power-up the TV. Update here the results....Last edited by sidds; 08-07-2018, 10:53 PM.

Re: Phillips 47pfl3603d/f7 P.S. Caught Fire!
You can use a 40 or 60 watt main lines voltage bulb in series in place of the fuse instead and power-up. If there are no shorts, the bulb will light up momentarily and be dim later. if there is a short, the bulb will be lit up bright. at that point, quickly switch off the power to the power-supply board....

Re: UA55KU6000WXXY Samsung Mainboard need identify part
Thank you diif for the awesome info. Any reliable supplier shipping at reasonable cost to Australia? I need just 2 or 3 units. Got some outrageous quotes of AUD 20 or more for a single unit. Ebay stores are shipping entire motherboards for that amount. Thinking of buying a board and using it for parts to fix the current bad one. Any thoughts would be welcomed. Cheers...

UA55KU6000WXXY Samsung Mainboard need identify part
Have a UA55KU6000WXXY Samsung Mainboard (BN94-10801A, other generic part number: BN41-02528A) which is not giving the voltage at the Test point after the 8 pin MOSFET which is fed by the IC401_UT. Can anyone identify that part?...Last edited by sidds; 08-01-2018, 12:27 AM.
