Thanks again! I flashed the 32MB chip with the new file, but same result ;-(
I think the 16MB file is not ok enough, I tried this file on a second 5530 laptop and it got the same issue with yellow led when push on power button....

Thank you, I flashed both chips with your files but unfortunately laptop doesn't start. Pressing power button shows yellow led at same time.
Please can somebody help with new files? Thanks a lot for your support!!...

I was confused about chip's physical size, but it was done with the same adapter/probe. Please find attached the 16MB file (compressed it's very small, but I took 2 dumps and file check said they were identical)...

Hi, after 3x Latitude 5530 laptops further all with same issue after patching bios, I really need your help.
Everytime after patching, the laptops only shows light on power button for 1 minute (sometimes a second cycle start with after the second minute a short lightning white led). No fan, no keyboard lights, no display, no startup.
When i put back the original flash file (it's verified with filecheck between two dumps) the same issue. So i don't know if only a new modified file wil help. I cannot find a second SPI chip on the mobo to flash.

I tried many times to unlock bios for 5530, also with patcher from REX98. Also tried generic 5530 image file from post 73. Laptop only shows light on startup button but doesn't do something. I'm using Neoprogrammer, standard read/write.

Thank you for your effort. Again, after every restart, system is entering Bios Setup immediately ๐...
UPDATE: After disconnecting the USH-flatcable, system booted in blue menu (named: "common BIOS menu"). I had to choose model name (Lat5520 vs Prec3560). After applying, system restarts and boot normally to Windows!
So that was the trick after using your patched BIOS-files. Thanks a lot!!!

Thank you. Unfortunately your file did the same as my pathed one. System is starting up BIOS Setup every time when power on or restart. It's not booting, only entering Bios Setup.
I have disconnected the keyboard flatcable also, to be sure there is not a (F2) button triggering this...
I flashed two times, with NeoProgrammer and AsProgrammer (erase included).
Can you try a second time with a new file please? Thanks a lot!

Thank you. Unfortunately i got same issue: amber light when pressing power button.
I did a second attempt, now with a memory erasure before programming. And that was the trick! Thank you very much hero!
Only a "little"problem now. After power up, system shows usb-drive and internal ssd, but did not start up from that. It detects no media and Support Assist is started every time doing tests.
Bios and boot list are showing boot devices, but hard pushing to start from that doesnt work....
I also updated Bios with newest from Dell site via .crv file (so system detect...

Thank you for your reply.
No did not soldering, i'm using the wson 8x6 probe.
Between original bios dumps i used a dump from another 5510 laptop with same chip (but other service tag), to try if it helps.
After first attempt with modded file from original chip i came in bios recovery mode. Then i used bios file from another laptop and after that it started with amber light. I put original bios dump in chip but also amber light when pressing power button.
