hp probook 430 g8 bios password protect : plugging the chip
Hello,
I have hp probook 430 g8 with a bios password, and I am having trouble to plug a ch341a onto it. I'm using a grip such as this one : https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/615MmT2UrQL._AC_SX679_.jpg but it does not properly touch the pins.
Is it mandatory to have the chip off the board ? Or weld onto the pins ?
Then, do I need to provide the forum with a software copy of the BIOS chip and the EC chip ?
Thanks a lot !hp probook 430 g8 bios password protect :

Re: New Members - please post your introductions here
Hello everyone,
I work in cybersecurity (software part) and for an obscure reason, whenever someone has a problem with their computer, even with the hardware, that's on me.
Through my research, I found this forum and I hope to learn a lot from it ! You guys rock, I'm looking forward to discussing with you
