  • Re: Akoya S6212T Medion MD99270 schematics

Thanks - I guess that is why my many hours of searching was without success.
Any idea who made the board? Maybe another schematic from the same manufacturer might give some indication of the power on circuit - it seems that the pwron button applies 3.3 rather than shorting to earth and then I cannot find connection to the startup chip.
Do you feel that flashing the bios would achieve anything?
    Thanks. anyhow.

Hidden under the heatsink tube is P/N:15BFT4-0011000 and what appears to be a series of modification state check boxes. Does this help?
Have photos - now how do I attach them?

The only labels (other than "Made in China" and component labels) is:-
    E89382
    HannStar J MV-4
    94V-0 1 330

I am assuming the MV-4 must be significant but it was well spaced away from the rest.
My apologies, my first post and request.
    Normally work without schematics.
If the MV-4 does not compute, please reply & I will try and post a couple of photos.
The laptop was sold under the Medion brand which is Aldi here in Australia.
The bottom cover carries a sticker...

Would love schematics for above. Seems to have weird power on circuit.
MoBo labelled as HannStar J E89382

  • Re: Lenovo ThinkPad 11e (DALI6JMB8E1 REV:E) Schematic needed urgently

I have several of them, all missing hard disks, otherwise all running & passing diagnostics
I inherited them from a defunct business I was helping clear out.
Could get a motherboard to you but I am in Australia.
Otherwise, if you have a particular problem which I could help with please ask.
Would also take a pdf schematic if available.
    Moses.

  • Re: New Members - please post your introductions here

Hi, Moses here - retired tech trying to keep in touch with the repair industry.
Current interests are experimenting with battery desulfating and repairing electronic items otherwise headed for the garbage tip.
Seem to be in constant need of circuits/maintenance manuals.
    Current projects are:-
A Philips Plasma (about 8 years old - intermittent)
An old Kikusui CRO (model 555)
A couple of monitors (inverters OK)
Have a keen interest in SMPS units (large & small).
    Usual test equipment...

  • Re: New Members - please post your introductions here

    Hi Guys, Moses here.
Retired tech, had a few years R&R and now at age 64 enjoying getting back into some electronics.
Not sure where this will end up but currently bringing myself up-2-date with newer technologies which have emerged over the last 20 years since I retired. Currently playing with pulse defulfating lead-acid batteries, developing solar panel regulator/charger, building a wideband amplifier (dc to 100mhz), repairing friends failed equipment, repairing my own failed equipment, learing micro-controllers....
