Hi all. Just joined to share a bit of experience about a Tracon ‘bad cap’. I’m from Worcestershire in England, a retired Chartered Engineer, radio amateur, volunteer repairer of vintage radios, antique clocks and historic oil lamps, plus almost anything electrical or electronic. I have just had to replace a Tracon 470uF 10V cap in a Roberts R900 radio. The capacitor had failed short-circuit.
