Thanks, this worked for me. It was correct size and the before bricked laptop works again.
The file 68ICE.BIN from HP's website is only 5242880 bytes and the chip is 16 megabytes so flashrom didn't write it. Maybe there are instructions how to modify it but I could not find them yet. I only tried the "truncate -s 16M" command which didn't work....Leave a comment:
