Finally found them! Shuttle SG31G2S
Been pretty sure there's problems with my Shuttle for more than a year now, but visual inspection has lead nowhere, nearly all the caps are solid type. But now that I've completely dismantled it, I could clearly see three 1800uF radial caps labeled TK. All bulging, and a quick search on those will show many failures in other boards. Will get some caps and swap them out.

Re: Does cap physical size matter????
I'm looking to replace a load of 3300uF caps on a DFI LanParty UT NF3 250 and an MSI Socket 939 board, will Nichicon UVR0J332MPD1TD caps be fine? I think the package is right (10mm radial leaded), but I can't find any ESR data. And not sure what value range of ESR is suitable anyway, really...

Re: New Members - please post your introductions here
Hello. I stumbled across this page when searching for possible reasons for intermittent errors on my Shuttle SG31G2, then saw mention of a DFI LANParty NF3 250 board, and thought that might be the reason for it to be at fault. Bingo, we have bulging, even leaking caps. May well get on with re-capping that one.
