Re: Low voltage on USB ports
The 2nd one is it! The D model is an AMD variation, the non-D is Intel (I believe). The 3 of them I bought are definitely all non-D, Intel,T4400 processors.
I'm not sure how far this will go - it would be nice if they'd included components list with specific part numbers & values, but this might give me the possibility of making some progress. Thank you!

Re: New Members - please post your introductions here
Hi everyone. I've lurked here a few times but joined today. I've been in the IT world for 26 years and work for one of the big 3 telecomm companies in the U.S. I posted details in one of the other forums about a USB voltage problem I'm trying to troubleshoot on a one-year-old Toshiba laptop.
Thanks for letting me join!

Re: Anyone reccomend a place to get schematics
Any chance of a schematic for a Toshiba Satellite C655-S5060?
Also for a Dell Latitude D830?

Toshiba C655-S5060 Low USB Voltage
I realize what bad form it is to ask for help in one's first post. However, I'm not asking. I'm begging for help. :-) Also, this is truly much more of an electronics question than a computer support question, but I'll first describe what I've done in order to help rule some things out.
I have two identical laptop PC's (Toshiba C655-S5060, but I don't think that matters - and actually I have three of them but to keep this simple I'll just use two). They were bought at the same time, are used the same way with nearly identical applications, and have been used about the same amount....Last edited by KSMike; 01-10-2012, 03:43 PM.
