UPDATE: Replacing the sub board fixed the issue, weirdly enough, the top microphone also works again... Anyway, in case anyone has the schematics, i'm still interested. Happy new year!

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Both microphones don't work, i'm gonna replace the sub board in a few days, if anyone has had similar problems with the same device feel free to suggest some fixes...

I'm sorry to bump this thread again, i was wondering if error 10 on "Realtek PCIe GbE Family Controller" is also dependent on bios issues, i noticed only now that the ethernet connector is totally dead, i read somewhere that the MAC addeess is stored in the bios? I hope anyone can help me sort this last thing out

I'm curious about one thing though. Did you have that rom already at hand or you repaired the dump i posted? If so i'm genuinely impressed because i literally have no idea how you managed to do that. Hello everyone, this is my first thread on this forum. I have an Asus X53S laptop. The bios became corrupted because of a faulty DC jack connector (which probably caused some intermittent current input to corrupt the bios chip)
Anyway, i tried building a new bios from scratch and also tried some bios from this forum as well and they all work but with some issues. A fresh windows installation is having trouble with the integrated GPUs because of a conflict? (error 31 or 12 can't remember.) Anyway, with windows i'm stuck at 1024x768.
