Insignia NS-L32Q-10A Need a part number for chip on power supply please
I have a power supply out of an Insignia ns-l32q-10a television set. I found a bad voltage regulator but unfortunately it is fried so I cannot get the part number off of it. I searched the internet and couldn't find any schematics or service manuals for this set. Any help would be greatly appreciated. The bad chip is at IC902 on the board. Attached is a picture. Thanks again in advance....
Re: Need some help on Insignia NS-LCD47HD TV No Picture No sound. Blue led comes on.
Yes the center pin is the output. Now, the first cap after the pin is labeled C743 and the last cap on the circuit before the next regulator is labeled C749. So if I am correct all banks on the circuit where the short is would be 743-749. Is it correct the circuit runs in numerical order??
Re: Need some help on Insignia NS-LCD47HD TV No Picture No sound. Blue led comes on.
Ok, I have mainboard out of the TV so I set my multimeter to ohms, black lead on ground around screw hole for chassis and red lead on tab of regulator on U707 here's what i got. 000.6 ohms..
Need some help on Insignia NS-LCD47HD TV No Picture No sound. Blue led comes on.
Ok guys, this is what I have so far. I tested the power supply. All my voltages out are pretty much in range. I proceeded to the main board and started testing regulators. I came to U707. Voltage in is reading 3.23v. I'm getting a voltage reading of .33v out. I looked at the data sheet and i am supposed to have a 1.8v dropout. So i believe I should have 1.8v out?? Not .33v. I already ordered the part from digikey and replaced. I am still getting the same readings and still no luck with the TV. Now the regulator at U709 Is giving me a reading at .39v in and nothing out. I believe the problem would...
Re: Quick Question It may sound stupid but please respond.
Here is the picture as requested. I tested all the voltages off of the power supply and everything checks out. I proceeded to test mosfets and am getting no voltage to the one in the upper right corner of the heat sink for the processor. This is for an insignia ns-lcd47hd tv. I turn the power on, light goes blue and nothing else. Shut it off and it blinks red 14 times....
Quick Question It may sound stupid but please respond.
Ok, I'm a newb so please take it easy on me. The long silver bar in the center of this picture is a fuse? If not can you please tell me what component it is.....
LG plasma 26LC7D Power on cycle loop. Power light blinks green to red
Hey all, I have a LG 26LC7D tv that has a power cycle issue. When plugged in the Tv will cycle on and off repeatedly. Screen will flicker and then shut off and on again. Its not responsive to anything. Just plug it in and it does this. I removed the back panel and there is a green led on the main board that blinks on and off with the power cycle. Then a red light that blinks on the other end of the main board. Any suggestions or info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys.
Re: Vizio GV42LHDTV10A Pixelated Picture Problems After U33 Replacement
I simply connected the two points with a small line of solder, bypassing it. I suppose I could read the resistance on the one next to it and try to get one identical to it. Its the size of a flea. (Not easy to solder) I'm a noob at this stuff. A friend gave me the TV for free, so what better way to learn then on something I got for nothing.
Vizio GV42LHDTV10A Pixelated Picture Problems After U33 Replacement
Hey everybody, I was wondering if anyone could help me. I replaced the U33 and U9 chip. During U33 replacement I lost a small resister behind U33 so I simply bridged the resistor. The TV worked fine for about a week and one night while watching a movie the picture became pixelated. It almost looks like a bad youtube video and static. Here are some pictures. The bridged resister the second one to the right of R30. Any ideas or any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance....
Re: Vizio GV42LFHDTV10A no pic, no sound, wont shut off
I replaced U33 and thought i was in trouble because i ripped the pads off taking the regulator off. I did a little magic tracing the circuit and BOOM IT WORKS!! Thanks for all your info!!! You guys are the best!!!
Re: Vizio GV42LFHDTV10A no pic, no sound, wont shut off
Hello all, I am a complete noob to electronics and really want to learn. I have a Vizio GV42LFHDTV10A also with the same problem, no pic, no sound, back light is lit and wont shut off. I have read this thread and am a little lost. I tested some of the regulators with the power on and ground to one of the screws on the main board. I replaced U9 already with the correct part from digikey because when i opened up the set i saw U9 was burnt and didn't bother to test any of the other regulators. I put the set back together and same...
