Re: Philips 47PFL5704D F7 No Power
This one is s Fluke 75 series 2 Multimeter as no cap tester function on it. I tested the cap with the diode tester function and got those results are they good results?...

Sorry it goes to .0L on the meter when I test it with the diode tester on my fluke....did I test it correctly?...

Re: Philips 47PFL5704D F7 No Power
D107 is showing .452 and 0L in reverse
C121 has a reading for about 1 or 2 seconds then go to 0
The resistance between pin 5 and 1 is 15.5k
I blew the fuse (6.3ah 250vp) when I hooked it back up today to test for voltage I'm wondering if I can get one from radio shack?
Should I put these components back in?Last edited by kolpro; 01-11-2012, 12:18 AM.

Re: Philips 47PFL5704D F7 No Power
Question....can I test the caps and diodes for shorts while in the circuit or should I just pull them out and test them?

Re: Philips 47PFL5704D F7 No Power
Resistor R104 was showing 194k ohms before I replaced the chip now it shows about 33. k ohms with the new chip in.
R104 -- 196k ohms
All the above testing was done in circuit as well....

Re: Philips 47PFL5704D F7 No Power
Here are the readouts.....I used pin 1 as ground
pin 8 -------147 volts
pin 5 ------- 0 volts
pin 3 ------- 0 volts
Thanks again!
I was trying to find a schematic of this board but can not.Last edited by kolpro; 01-09-2012, 10:08 PM.

Re: Philips 47PFL5704D F7 No Power
Ok I tested for shorts and here are the results so far.
D101--.554
D102---.558
D107--.458
D111---.460
D301--.193
D510--.458
D501--.457
D203--.164
If I test the in opposite direction I get 0 for all D***
R104 -- 196k ohms
tested the Bridge and no shorts it tested good
Please let me know if I'm missing something.
ThanksLast edited by kolpro; 01-06-2012, 01:09 PM.

Re: Philips 47PFL5704D F7 No Power
Do I need to check these components out of the circuit or can I check them in place for the short?...

Re: Philips 47PFL5704D F7 No Power
Thanks much I just ordered the part from Mouser Electronics and once the part comes in I'll post the results. I went ahead and ordered 2 just for the heck of it only cost me $11 bucks with shipping.

Re: Philips 47PFL5704D F7 No Power
Yep I just check that datasheet as well does this give you a flag as to maybe why it blew and maybe if I should be checking something else as well?

LOL.....Thanks for the fast response I googled FSQ510 but not "buy FSQ510" I should have thought of that.
Thanks

Philips 47PFL5704D F7 No Power
Hello all and thanks in advance....
I have been on this site for a few days now researching my problem and kind of have an idea of what my problem is. Long story short I have a Philips 47PFL5704D F7 and when it's plugged up I get no power at all. I opened the back and looked for the usual suspects being the caps and all seem to be good. But I did come across a IC chip (U101) labeled FVK31 "bottom line" FSQ510. This chip has 7 legs and the side with 3 legs is blown the leg is blown off the chip, so I think maybe replacing this chip may solve my problem. Then I begin to...
