Sorry to leap on this thread, but I have one of these Value 2200E beasties too.
My problem is that the AVR thinks the mains voltage is wandering between 196VAC and 225VAC. This is causing the thing to do the opposite and energise the inverter.
I suspect it may be a dodgy cap somewhere, BUT, if the board is pressed gently with a plastic rod, I can make the inverter switch on and off. This points to a possibility of a dodgy joint as well, er, or just the Cap.
It would really help to be able to...
