the mac in question suddenly no longer turns on and the magsafe led flashes orange.
Doing some checks I noticed with the thermal camera that the voltage regulator of the nand0 UN400 (338S00600) heated up a lot, around 80°C. I thought about replacing it, I only found it from some seller on aliexpress.
Once replaced, the problem is always the same, but the chip now doesn't heat up anymore and no output voltage is present. Has anyone had experience with this? Could the purchased chip be a fake?
