What's the point of a resistor like this it's like a fuse type wire with such low resistance?
Yes I will remove it tomorrow but
The resistance to gnd is lower on the puv1 side (5ohms),
So either PUV1 or the Cap on the same side, could the badcaps prophecy be fulfilled.. we'll find out tomorrow

Apologies for not listening to the jedi's fully
But i went on a slightly different route before i removed UQ1. I decided to desolder JPQ2 to isolate the 7 ohm, once +5Vs and +5Vs_out were decoupled the 7ohm disappeared on the UQ1 side, and the 7ohm remained on +5Vs line.
So injected on that line and found that the resistor near PUV1 is warming up (PRV42). But also PUV1 is warming up slightly too
Resistance across PRV42 is 3.4ohm while on board which i think is correct.

UQ1
Pin 9/8 on trigger very quick 3.3V
Resistance to ground >2mohm
Pin 13/14 on trigger very quick 5V
Resistance to ground 7.5ohm
UQ1
Pin 8/9 on trigger 0v
resistance to ground 300Kohm
Pin 13/14 on trigger 0V
Resistance to ground 340ohm

What else would be SIO requirement ? sorry still a noob

With AC only plugged in i have the following on PU2501
Pin 2 - 0V EN_2.5V
Pin 3 - 3.4V VIN
Pin 4 5V VDD
Pin 6 0V 2.5VP
Pin 7 0V FB_2.5V
Not exactly sure what you are asking about on PUM1
I just check a few pins all i have is
Pin 4 20mV VTREF-1.2V
Pin 16 3.5V LX_1.2VP
What else should I have a look at ?
